Why we built Dourr
Renting a home is one of the most personal decisions a person makes. You are choosing where you will sleep, cook, rest, and recover. It matters.
But for too long, the experience of renting in Malaysia has made it feel like it does not. Listings that are already gone. Information that does not match the unit you visit. Processes that leave both sides confused about what happens next. Manual work that slows everything down for everyone.
Southeast Asia deserves better. We built Dourr to make the journey simpler, clearer, and more dependable for both sides. Not just for renters. For property managers, landlords, and agents too.

Dourr is built on a deliberate decision. We stay independent of property management services. We do not manage properties. We remain a platform.
That independence matters. It means we are not competing with the property managers we serve. It means we are not favouring listings from people who pay us more. It means the system can be designed for fairness, and for long-term trust from everyone who uses it.
